Privacy Policy
How JCMI Digital Ltd handles the personal information you share with us.
Last updated: 7 September 2026
Who we are
JCMI Digital Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, providing observability consultancy and website/platform building services. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
What data we collect
There are two places on this website where you can send us personal data. The first is the contact form, where we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company name (optional)
- The service area you selected (optional)
- The content of your message
The second is the Observability Maturity Checklist request form, a separate collection point from the contact form, where we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company name (optional)
If you email us directly, we hold whatever information is contained in that email.
Why we collect it
Contact form submissions are used solely to read, respond to, and follow up on your enquiry. Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interest — responding to someone who has contacted us about our services.
Checklist requests are used to email you the copy of the checklist you asked for, and to send the occasional relevant note or update about observability practice and our services. Our lawful basis for those emails is consent, which you give by requesting the checklist.
Every checklist email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time — either by using that link or by emailing us. Once you unsubscribe we stop sending you these emails. Unsubscribing does not affect our ability to reply to a direct enquiry you send us.
Sharing your data
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Submissions are delivered by email and stored securely so that we can manage enquiries; the hosting and email providers that operate this site process the data only on our instructions.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous information about how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how the site is reached. This helps us understand traffic and improve our services. Google processes this data as a data processor on our behalf. The data is anonymised and we do not use it to identify individuals.
The only other third-party component that may set a technical cookie is the anti-spam captcha protecting the contact form, which is required for security. If you prefer, you can use browser settings to block or delete cookies, though this may affect some site functionality.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only as long as needed to respond and follow up, plus a short period for our own records. Enquiries that do not lead to any working relationship are deleted once they are no longer relevant.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to our processing, and to request that we restrict it. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Contact us
For any privacy question or data request, email jammiemil@hotmail.com. We aim to respond as soon as possible.
